Cleaning

- Do not machine wash, submerge in water, or soak the leather — this will dry out and crack the hide over time.
- Avoid harsh chemical solvents, alcohol wipes, or abrasive pads to preserve the natural leather grain and edge coating.
Conditioning & Protection
- Treat periodically with a high-quality leather conditioner to keep the leather supple and prevent drying or cracking.
- Wipe dry immediately with a microfibre cloth if exposed to rain or moisture.
- Keep the matte light-gold hardware dry and clear of moisture — wipe clean after walks in wet conditions.
- Avoid contact with perfumes, sunscreen, or chemical sprays near the leather and hardware.
Storage
- Store loosely coiled in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Keep in a breathable cotton or dust bag when not in use to protect the leather finish and hardware plating.
