For optimal control, durability, and comfort, choose your leash width based on your dog’s weight. If your dog falls between weight brackets, is a strong puller, or is right on the borderline, we recommend sizing up to a wider width for extra strength and a more secure grip. Washing
- Hand wash in warm water with mild detergent is recommended to protect the padded mesh and reflective stitching.
- If machine washing, you must use a padded wash bag or pillowcase to protect your washing machine drum from being impacted or scratched by the zinc alloy lobster clasp.
- Wash on a gentle cycle at max 30°C.
- Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh chemical cleaners.
Drying
- Do not tumble dry.
- Air dry flat or hang in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
- Avoid direct sunlight and high heat to preserve nylon strength and reflective trim integrity.
Storage & Maintenance
- Ensure the leash and air-mesh padding are completely dry before storing.
- Rinse with fresh water after exposure to salt water or beach walks to prevent salt buildup on the zinc alloy hardware.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
