Washing
- Hand wash in warm water with mild detergent is recommended to preserve the elastic bungee core, neoprene padding, and reflective stitching.
- If machine washing, you must use a padded wash bag or pillowcase to protect your washing machine drum from being impacted or scratched by the zinc alloy snap hook.
- Wash on a gentle cycle at max 30°C.
- Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh chemical cleaners.
Drying
- Do not tumble dry.
- Air dry flat or hang in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
- Avoid direct sunlight and high heat to maintain the elasticity of the bungee core and preserve nylon strength.
Storage & Maintenance
- Ensure the lead and neoprene padding are completely dry before storing.
- Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after exposure to salt water or beach walks to prevent salt buildup on the zinc alloy hardware.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
