Washing
- Hand wash in warm water with mild detergent is strongly recommended.
- If machine washing, you must use a padded wash bag or pillowcase to protect your washing machine drum and glass from being impacted or scratched by the aluminum fittings and D-rings.
- Fasten all Duraflex® buckles and use a gentle cycle at max 30°C.
- Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and harsh chemical cleaners.
Drying
- Use a low-spin cycle only to remove excess water.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Air dry flat or hang in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
- Avoid direct sunlight and high heat to preserve nylon strength and reflective trim integrity.
Storage & Maintenance
- Ensure the harness and mesh lining are completely dry before storing.
- Rinse with fresh water after exposure to salt water or ocean swim to prevent salt buildup in the hardware.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
