Crafted from a premium 80% Wool / 20% Nylon yarn, the Coastal Knit offers a cozy, structured fit. Because this blend provides natural recovery rather than extreme stretch, we recommend prioritising your dog’s chest measurement at the widest point especially for broad or barrel-chested builds.
If your dog falls between sizes, has a particularly deep ribcage, or sits at the upper end of a range, we recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit. This allows for better movement and layering.

Cleaning
- Hand wash in cool water with a mild wool detergent, or dry clean only.
- Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or wring — this will distort the cable pattern and shrink the knit.
- Avoid bleach and harsh chemical solvents to preserve the wool fibres and colour integrity.
Drying & Shape
- Gently press out excess water — do not twist or wring.
- Lay flat on a clean, dry towel and reshape to original dimensions while damp.
- Dry away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent fading and fibre damage.
Storage
- Fold and store flat in a cool, dry place — do not hang, as this will stretch the knit over time.
- Store with cedar or lavender sachets to protect natural wool fibres from moths.
- Keep in a breathable cotton bag when not in use to maintain the silhouette and softness.
